Are you looking for quality high speed internet service, phone service, or television service? Charter offers great deals and exclusive packages on the services mentioned above. Their rates are very competitive with other big companies service packages. The best deal they have going on right now is a triple service pack which includes high speed internet, telephone, and cable television for only $99.97 a month. If you’re not looking for a bundle pack, they offer high speed internet access for a meager $24.99 a month. That really is a bargain especially with rates on everything going sky high these days. Another bonus for signing up with Charter is the current sweepstakes they have going on. When you register for one of more of Charter’s services, you’ll automatically be entered into a contest to win an awesome 2009 Honda Civic Hybrid, which is worth an estimated $24,000! I know I would definitely love a shot at winning such a beautiful and eco-friendly car like that. The Honda Civic Hybrid gets an estimated 45mpg, so not only will you be saving green by signing up with Charter, you’ll be saving some green by not having to fill up your gas tank as often. So it’s basically a win-win situation.

Well, I managed to finish my finals and I must admit I’m both excited and nervous about the outcome. I know I did astoundingly well on certain subjects and felt incredibly insecure on others. Let’s just hope it was a false insecurity. It may be a few weeks until I finally see my grades, but I can wait, I’ve learned how to be patient. Right after I completed my finals, I started on Twilight, and I must say, I am hooked! It’s not often I come across a book I can hardly put down but this is one of them. I didn’t think I would enjoy it as much as I have so far but we will see. I just hope the whole series is as good. I know the further along I read in the Harry Potter series, the more disappointed I became with it. I thought the final Harry Potter book was rather dreadful and ridiculously predictable. I don’t enjoy books when I can read them and know what is going to happen in the next few chapters without even having to read it. I like when things surprise me. ;) I’m also a sucker for romance that isn’t too cheesy. Aside from my uncontrollable book addiction at the moment, I’m just working my typical, torturous job and taking care of Ayden, my little pumpkin. I need to get around to setting up a play date for Ayden so he can get some social interaction with other children. I don’t want him to develop a strange sense of insecurity when it comes to social interaction. Besides, he seems to enjoy the attention other children pay to him when we’re out and he sees other little kids. I’m just hoping he doesn’t turn Dracula on me and start biting the other children he plays with. He uses me as a literal teething ring, so let’s hope he just sticks to abusing me. :D

I really hate to do this, but it looks like I have to put A-S on an itty bitty hiatus. My Final exams are due within two weeks and I have to somehow scrunch in the time to do them between work, household chores, and chasing Ayden around. I was in the middle of making a new layout too, but that will have to be put on hold till I complete my finals. I find it ironic how most students are starting off the school year whereas I’m just starting my finals. Ha! I promise though, once I finish up my exams, I’ll get back to work on my fabulous new layout which features some of my artwork I actually got around to uploading. I’m not a talented artist by any means, but my art makes me smile and I think that’s important. As long as I’m happy with it, that’s all that matters. Anyways, my exams should be done in about a week or so, so I shouldn’t be on hiatus too long and I promise to return all comments when I return and give my affiliates some much needed love and attention. Wish me luck!!! :D

I am finally back from my trip to Washington D.C. and Philadelphia. We also made a few extra trips to Baltimore Maryland and Gettysburg Pennsylvania. I took loads oh photos which I will be uploading within the next few days. The beginning of our trips was pretty brutal. We woke up at 4:00am to get ready to leave and just as I had expected, Ayden was a little grumpy bear when I woke him up at 4:30am. My mother and two friends we usually travel with, accompanied us on our trip. We rented a minivan and we all managed to pack ourselves and our luggage into it. Ayden slept most of the morning and eventually woke up at 6:00am so we stopped to get a bite to eat at a fast food restaurant. Ayden spilled milk all over me and ate nearly half of my breakfast! Little piggy. :) Our first official stop was at Gettysburg Pennsylvania to see the battlefields and cemeteries. It was so hot outside, my mother pooped out right after we walked around the cemetery and decided to sit in the van with the air conditioner on while everyone went to check out the battlefields across the street. I enjoyed Gettysburg and all the history behind it and it was quite beautiful in an old fashioned sort of way. You almost feel like you’re going back in history when you stand atop the hill and stare down at where so many people lost their lives so long ago. You can almost visualize it.
After Gettysburg, we decided to make a stop at Baltimore Maryland so Chad could see Camden Yards stadium (He’s a baseball junkie) and so we could make a quick stop at a Disney store to buy Ayden a Mickey Mouse plushie. Unfortunately for Chad, there was a baseball game still in progress, so we couldn’t find a place to park and get out to see Camden Yards. When we got into the mall, it was chaotic. There was a huge fight going on and an ever growing crowd gathering around watching and screaming. Apparently two guys started going at each other, for what reason I have no idea, and a security guard tried to break it up. The security guard was such a dumbass he managed to pepper spray himself in the face so one of the guys beat the shit out of him.
I can laugh about it now, but at the time I wanted to get the hell away from the scene of everything because I was afraid someone would pull out a gun and start shooting and I didn’t want myself, Chad, my mom, or Ayden around to get hurt. Chad took off with Ayden to get away from all the chaos going on and I was trying to get my mom and our two friends to hurry up and come with us but they kept ignoring me and moving closer to the fight to watch. Needless to say I was getting pissed because I didn’t want to lose anyone in this crazy ass mall. Eventually I got my mom to follow me and we made it to the Disney Store. Ayden went crazy in there and wanted us to buy him everything. He even wanted a Minnie Mouse, which Chad didn’t approve of.
After all the craziness of Baltimore we made it to our hotel for the evening and slept. The next day we went all through Washington D.C. I loved D.C., it was gorgeous and so much better than I expected it to be. I’d love to go back sometime later if I ever get the opportunity. The memorials were gorgeous, I saw the White House and the Capitol Building, and I went to a few Smithsonian museums as well as the National Zoo. I do admit, the museum of Air and Space was sooooo boring! The zoo was fantastic and a lot larger than I thought it would be. They also had two pandas on exhibit and I haven’t seen pandas since I was a little girl and visited the San Diego Zoo. By the end of the zoo my mom looked like she was going to pass out!
On our last day we stopped in Philadelphia to see the Liberty Bell, which I never got to see because the friends we traveled with were being incredibly obnoxious. We did however get a famous Philly Cheese Steak which was disgusting, overpriced and made me not want to eat beef again for a very long time. I was very disappointed with the hype of that stupid sandwich. We stopped at the Mutter Museum of medical oddities. It was pretty interesting but also quite disturbing, especially since I brought Ayden in there and had no idea there would be mostly a bunch of babies and fetuses in jars. It was rather disgusting. I wasn’t so much offended by the fetuses as much as I was by the babies. It was grotesque and I didn’t want Ayden to see things like that. I pretty much had to cover his eyes and rush by those exhibits so he wouldn’t see that. Poor little babies. :( Overall, I hated Philadelphia and would never go back. It was disgusting and full of nasty shops, porno theaters, and homeless people. The streets were all so narrow and one of the worst parts was the nasty stores we drove by that had chickens in small cages that you could buy to have slaughtered and the sausage shops that sold over 200 different types o f sausages. They offered so many different types of meat I literally wanted to vomit after reading the sign. Some of the things I remembered on it were kangaroo, possum, raccoon, rabbit, rat, emu, snake, horse, moose, deer, and they probably even had some dog or cat ones hidden in the back for illegal sales. People make me sick. I’m becoming more of a vegetarian over time and eat meat or poultry maybe twice a week now. I find meat less desirable and it usually makes me feel sick afterwards.
Ayden was very well behaved the whole trip and I think even though he’s so young, he really enjoyed himself. I know I did for the most part.
Oh! And before I forget, thanks for all the comments, I promise I will return them just give me a little bit of time to catch up with my offline life and I’ll definitely return the favor.

Sorry for my lack of updates lately. I’ve actually had a somewhat eventful life lately, but have just been distracted by a few things and have shamefully neglected my blog. I’ve been kind of infatuated with playing Neopets again and am almost halfway finished with catching up on the second season of Hex. Hex is a flipping awesome show that used to be aired on BBCAmerica last Summer but I kept missing episodes and wanted to catch up with the storyline. Luckily, youtube has every episode for me to catch up with. I don’t like many television shows so actually coming across one that sparks my interest is exciting for me. While not loafing my ass on the computer, I almost got in a near fatal car accident on the highway with Chad and Ayden in my car. Some dumbshit cut me off on our way to the highway and he had all this shit thrown into the back of his truck in cardboard boxes. I think they were large metal pipes. Anyways, I knew this stuff wasn’t going to stay in his truck so I kept trying to pass him up on the three way highway in busy traffic. This ass hat would not let me pass him but my stubborn ass was determined to get the hell away from him. I had to go 75mph in a 55mph area to finally get enough space to cut him off in return for his asshole-ness he displayed earlier. Right after I cut him off, and I do mean right after, not even 30 seconds had passed and I checked my mirrors expecting him to flip me off and I saw everything fly out of the back of his truck and hit all three lanes of traffic. The person directly behind him got metal pipes in the windshield and hit the car next to them trying to avoid it. Everyone else got boxes and metal pipes on the hood of the cars and ran over everything. I was so shook up and thankful that I had managed to get us out of the way just in time. I’m not sure why I was so lucky, but I know I sure am thankful. If Ayden had been hurt at all I probably would have killed the guy and been in prison. I’m getting angry just thinking about this guy and how he managed to ruin a whole load of people’s days, or maybe worse, because I didn’t stay around to see the extent of damage. I feel bad for the people who got hit though.
Aside from my brush with that, work has been typical. The usual amount of jerks still coming buy and pestering me because they get their jollies out of it. I try not to let my emotions show, but I really do wear my heart on my sleeve. It’s a burden really.
Site wise, I really need to revamp my FL collective because the current layout sucks. It needs more pizazz! If I can manage to get my nose out from a book or stop playing Neopets, I might actually get some work done! I should probably do that…yeah…

I haven’t really done anything note worthy since my last update but I have managed to do some work around the site and start on a new book. First off:
1. I finished my Creature Feature fanlisting. I initially applied for this fanlisting earlier this year and was accepted but never got around to making it. I finally got my second application approved and got right to work on it so I could actually get it up in time this time.
2. I opened up the MewMee Exchange. I wanted to open up my own button exchange site and actually found the time to upload everything I made for it one day.
3. My coppermine photo gallery took a dump on me and would no longer let me log in. I have no idea why and since I keep having massive problems with coppermine, I decided to just look for something new. I thought maybe flickr would be a good choice till I noticed they only let you upload 200 photos until you have to pay for a pro account. I’m not paying for a photo gallery. I tried a few wordpress plugins until I found the exact one that suited my needs and now I’m in the process of uploading all of my photos again. I hope this plugin lasts forever because I love it.
In other news, my vacuum is dying a slow painful death. It keeps clogging on every other use and no longer has that awesome suction power it once had. I think it’s time to invest in a new one. I’m crossing my fingers for a Dyson Animal but I’m probably pushing my luck with Chad. Speaking of which, he brought me a purple skillet from work. Normally I would kick his ass for buying me something like a frying pan, but I thought it was nice because it was purple and I’ve been bugging him for a larger pan to cook with so it was actually a nice thought. Thanks honey. ;)
1. Smells, and memories. Do you have a scent that when you smell it, brings up a memory? Do share.
No, certain smells do not bring back any memories for me.
2. Songs. Is there a particular song that brings back happy memories? Song title and memory, if you care to share that much.
No, I must be really simple and boring.
3. How about a song that brings up painful memories?
Song title and memory, if you care to share that much.
Well, REM’s Losing My Religion song reminds me of my brother who passed away when I was in third grade. He always used to listen to that song.
4. Food. Is there a certain food that conjures up memories?
Sadly enough, probably fast food from Del Taco. I can recall lots of things that happened while eating their food.
5. Clothing? Do you have an item of clothing or if you see a certain item, does it make you think of a time/place or person?
My old platform combat boots, but I threw them away not too long ago. They used to remind me of when I had confidence.
